If you have been with me here or on Instagram for a bit, you know that I have always loved vintage clothing and décor.  I decided a while back that I would swap out my dining-room table for a vintage one but it was going to take some time to find what I was looking for.  I lean towards the 70s in almost everything (lol) so I was hoping to find a round pedestal table with (hopefully) a chrome base.  I had seen some throughout my sourcing but they were so expensive and I didn’t want to get into pricey shipping costs. When I found this beauty locally I couldn’t believe it – it was exactly the table that I had envisioned for the space! I listed my old dining room table online for sale and was so pleased when I got a response.  The man who picked it up showed up in a van and was so enthusiastic about it – he told me he was excited to add it to his man-cave! So it was a win-win. Not only had I sold the old dining room table but also it was going to a good home and now I had the money for my new vintage table! J  The owners of the vintage table showed up in-person on a sunny afternoon to deliver it curbside and it was exactly as pictured – I couldn’t have been happier. I took my time finding chairs to go with it....the chairs didn’t have to be vintage but they needed to be comfy and fit the style and era of the table. These cantilever chairs were the winners. They have exactly the same chrome piping and a super-comfy crème textured fabric.  I found them just before Christmas so it was a beautiful way to celebrate the twinkly season by setting the table for Christmas dinner, and to welcome in a fresh new year. All the good vibes. xx
